Fresh 'Bodoland' cry Government's own making
Now, it is the Joint Action Committee for Boroland Movement (JACBM) that is in the forefront of a fresh agitation for a separate Bodoland state. JACMB has already managed to cripple movement of traffic on the National Highway linking Assam or the North-east with the rest of India by calling an indefinite blockade from January 1. Incidentally, and this is a point that cannot be missed, the NDFB (Progressive) has lent its support to the movement. And, this at a time when the NDFB (P) is not quite happy with the way New Delhi has been conducting the peace negotiations with the group.
